I debated putting this on Facebook but felt it was important. A little over two months ago Jeff sprained his ankle. He tried to work through it and it wasn't getting better, only worse. His feet started to turn blue, on occasion, and every doctor we went to either dismissed us or sent us to another doctor. We finally made the right connection with Dr. George Nahhas, Cardiologist. He immediately knew something was wrong.
He scheduled an emergency surgery and corrected the problem. Had we listened to the other doctors, and waited six months to repeat testing, Jeff could have faced amputation. I am thankful for Dr. Nahhas and his staff. If something feels off, go to the doctors and check your feet. Also, get second opinions if something doesn't feel right. The sprained ankle was a blessing in disguise and I am so thankful he's going to be okay
